Château Auris Rouge

Appellation: AOP CORBIERES (Terroir de Fontfroide)

Soil: Located in the heart of the Fontfroide hills, Château Auris benefits from a protected and cool situation tempering the Mediterranean climate. This terroir allows a perfect ripening, in the meantime preserving natural acidity and fruity aromas. Soils are diverse: sand, clay and silt.

Grapes: Syrah, Grenache, Carignan.

Harvest: Manual and mechanical harvest from September 15th to October 3rd.

Yield: 30hl/h.

Vinification: Traditional with total destemming of the grapes. Soft extraction and ageing in tank 21 days maceration for the Carignan. Syrah has been aged in oak barrels (batonnage 12 months).

Alcohol: 14 %

Tasting: Ruby red color. Intense and complex bouquet with red and black berry fruits and pepper notes. The mouth is souple and round with a lingering finish. Already elegant and charming, it can be kept for 4 to 5 years. Serve at 17°C.

Château Auris Rosé

Appellation : AOP CORBIERES (Terroir de Fontfroide)

Soil: Located in the heart of the Fontfroide hills, Château Auris benefits from a protected and cool situation tempering the Mediterranean climate. This terroir allows a perfect ripening, in the meantime preserving natural acidity and fruity aromas. Soils are diverse: sand, clay and silt.

Grapes: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah.

Harvest: By hand and machine from September 15th to October 3rd.

Yield: 30hl/h.

Vinification: Direct pressing and fermentation at low temperature in small stainless steel tank (separately by grape variety). Maturation on the lees.

Alcohol: 13 %

Tasting: Nice pale pink colour with purple hues. Delicate bouquet with strawberry and pastry aromas. The mouth is round, perfumed, with a lingering finish. Fine, elegant and well balanced. To enjoy with mediterranean cooking, salads, vegetable tart or grilled meats. Serve at 10/12 ° C.

Château Auris Blanc

Appellation: AOP CORBIERES (Terroir de Fontfroide)

Soil: Located in the heart of the Fontfroide hills, Château Auris benefits from a protected and cool situation tempering the Mediterranean climate. This terroir allows a perfect ripening, in the meantime preserving natural acidity and fruity aromas. Soils are diverse: sand, clay and silt.

Grapes: Marsanne, Grenache Blanc.

Harvest: By hand and machine from September 15th to October 3rd.

Yield: 40hl/h.

Vinification: Direct pressing with juice protection against oxydation. Fermentation by grape variety in stainless steel tank or oak barrels at low temperature. Maturation on the lees. Blended and bottled in spring.

Alcohol: 14%

Tasting: Vibrant pale yellow color with green hues. Mineral aromas melted with acacia flower and flower notes. Concentrated and full-bodied mouthfeel with a long aromatic persistence. To enjoy with a grilled fish or oysters. Serve at 10 – 12°C.
